The Property is located
beside the Macal River, which is full of fresh water
fish. You can spend the whole day fishing and
then have a great evening barbecuing your
catch.
Belize also offers spectacular off shore
fishing. Big game sport fish are available all
year round. We’ll be happy to help you arrange
all types of fishing adventures. |

 The only mainland golf
course in Belize is only 30 minutes away and run
by the same people! This means guests of BetterinBelize will get a special discount on
all rates to the golf club. The resort will also
provide all equipment you need to get to shoot a
terrific round or two. |

Belize is a bird-watchers'
paradise. It has an amazing variety of
bird-species, around 550 have been documented so far. The topography of
Belize contains coasts, lagoons, grasslands and
thick tropical forests and birds can be found in
abundance in them. While birds can be easily
viewed along the coasts and lagoons, and in the
open grasslands, it requires patience to spot
them in the forests. But patience can be
rewarded with an unforgettable experience.
Besides, the Belize zoo has an infinite variety
of birds: parrots, macaws, vultures, hawks,
wading birds like the endangered Jabiru Stork,
etc. Apart from caged birds, the zoo also has
"free" birds which live in a created
"savannah-type" habitat.

| River rafting is one of
the most exciting & challenging outdooor sports.
Rafting or river running, can be an alternative
way of spending your vacation. As the eco resort
is situated just beside the Macal river it can
be an exciting way to spend a memorable day of
your vacation Knowing off swimming is a must to
take part in this outdoor adventure sports apart
from being more than 18 yrs of old. Necessary
equipment required for this sport is a Life
jacket. |

The Beach |
| The beach is less than 2 hours
drive from our eco resort. Belize has long
beaches where you can spend the whole day
relaxing, swimming, enjoying a good book or
sipping a few cocktails. Drop & pickup
facilities will be available upon request from
the resort. |
